Lyon turn attention to Angers winger Yahia Jlidi as transfer rumour emerges

Yahia Jlidi, a Tunisia-France winger at Angers SCO U17, has been linked with a move to Lyon.

The 17-year-old left winger joined Angers from Creteil Youth in July 2024 and remains part of the club’s under-17 set-up. The reported interest from Lyon would represent a move between two French clubs, with Lyon competing in Ligue 1.

Jlidi has made five appearances in National U19 – Group C this season, scoring once. He has also featured twice in the Coupe Gambardella, although he has not made a senior Ligue 1 appearance.

The player’s profile lists him primarily as a left winger, while his date of birth is 6 January 2009. He holds both Tunisian and French nationality.

There is no confirmed agreement between Lyon and Angers, and the rumour does not establish whether negotiations have taken place or whether a transfer fee has been discussed. Jlidi’s current role remains with Angers SCO U17, where he has been registered since arriving from Creteil.
