Lyon secured their place in the final qualifying round for the group stage of the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Swiss side Grasshoppers Zurich. The only goal of the match was scored by Clément Grenier, allowing Lyon to advance with a 2-0 aggregate victory (they won the first leg 1-0 as well). The draw for the play-offs will determine Lyon’s next opponent, with the first legs scheduled for August 20 and 21.
