Lassana Diarra Set for Marseille Debut Wearing Number 10
Lassana Diarra is finally ready to make his Olympique de Marseille debut. The former Real Madrid midfielder is fit and available to play his first match for the club, where he will wear the iconic number 10 shirt—recently vacated by Florian Thauvin, who joined Newcastle United for €17 million.
Interestingly, Diarra was initially given the number 6 jersey upon signing with OM. However, he later reclaimed the number 10, a familiar number for him from his time at Real Madrid, where he also donned it.
Marseille fans will now be eager to see how Diarra, a player with rich experience at the top level, can influence the team’s midfield and live up to the expectations that come with the prestigious number 10.
