Henri Bedimo Focused on Lyon Challenge, Not Eyeing a Transfer—For Now
Cameroonian international Henri Bedimo, who joined Olympique Lyonnais from Montpellier last year, appears content with his current club situation. The defender, who has firmly established himself as a starter in Lyon’s squad, is not prioritizing a transfer anytime soon.
In an interview with OL’s official website, Bedimo made his intentions clear:
“At Lyon, I enjoy this obligation to achieve results that I was looking for.“
He praised the club’s ambition, particularly citing the Grand Stade project, and views his current stint as a “great challenge.” However, the 30-year-old also admitted to having an instinct-driven approach to his career:
“Looking ahead has never been my strong point. I work on instinct. When I get bored, I change my surroundings…”
Bedimo, a key part of Cameroon’s defense, will represent the Indomitable Lions at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea this January. His club form with Lyon will be crucial as he joins his national team in pursuit of continental success.
