Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 title celebrations on Saturday delivered a memorable scene as Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, and head coach Luis Enrique shared a playful moment centered around the Moroccan flag.
Following the final whistle at the Parc des Princes, with the club basking in another successful domestic campaign, Hakimi once again embraced a gesture close to his heart—waving the Moroccan flag with pride.
A mainstay of such festivities, the Atlas Lions captain has made a habit of highlighting his national roots on significant occasions, whether for club or country.
What made this year’s celebration stand out, however, was the company he kept.
Ousmane Dembélé, recently crowned Ligue 1’s best player, stood alongside Hakimi, smiling broadly as he joined in the tribute.
The French international, whose wife Rima Edbouche is of Moroccan origin, has long shown a cultural affinity with the North African nation.
His close bond with Hakimi is well known, and the scene felt as much a personal gesture as it was one of solidarity.

Yet it was Luis Enrique who delivered the most unexpected moment of the day.
The Spanish manager, famously knocked out of the 2022 World Cup by Morocco while leading Spain, willingly joined his players for a photo around the Moroccan flag.
Grinning broadly, Enrique posed with the flag—an image that struck many as both humorous and ironic.
“Luis Enrique took part in the scene by posing, laughing, with the Moroccan flag,” a moment that didn’t go unnoticed by fans and players alike.
The light-hearted act recalled Spain’s elimination in the round of 16 in Qatar, where Morocco triumphed on penalties after a goalless draw.
Enrique resigned shortly after that defeat, making his participation on Saturday all the more noteworthy.
According to onlookers, the coach even leaned in to whisper a joke into Hakimi’s ear before dashing off with a grin, drawing laughter from the Moroccan defender, who is known for playfully referencing that World Cup clash in his interactions with Enrique.
The scene at the Parc des Princes captured more than just post-match jubilation.
It reflected the camaraderie within the PSG squad and showcased the lighter side of football—where shared history, cultural pride, and humour can intersect in moments of celebration.
