Luis Enrique eases fears over Ousmane Dembele injury

Luis Enrique has played down fears over Ousmane Dembele’s fitness after the winger was forced off during PSG’s shock defeat to Paris FC.

Dembele left the pitch in the first half, raising immediate concern ahead of the Champions League final on May 30.

Speaking after the match, Enrique described the issue as minor and expressed hope that it would not derail Dembele’s season.

“Ousmane Dembele suffered a small problem. I hope it’s nothing serious,” he said, confirming that the club will carry out tests in the coming days to determine the exact extent of the injury. PSG are determined not to take any risks with a player who has become central to their attacking plans.

Dembele has been in prolific form for PSG this season, making 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 11 assists. He was also recently named Ligue 1 Player of the Season, underlining his importance to the team’s success.

Keeping him fit for the Champions League final remains a top priority for the French champions as they chase European glory.
