Luciano Spalletti wants Randal Kolo Muani back at Juventus next summer
Luciano Spalletti is reportedly doing everything he can to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to Juventus at the end of the season, convinced the French forward is the ideal leader for his attack.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Tottenham from PSG, after spending the first half of the 2025/26 campaign in Turin on a temporary deal.
Juventus chose not to trigger a permanent move in January, but Spalletti’s admiration for Kolo Muani has not faded, and mirrors that of former coaches Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor. His interest goes back to 2023, when his Napoli side faced Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League last 16 and he came away impressed by the striker despite a 5–0 aggregate win for the Italians.
The coach values Kolo Muani’s movement, duel strength, hold-up play and ability to connect with teammates, considering him a more complete option than other centre-forwards on Juventus’ radar such as Jonathan David and Lois Openda. Tottenham’s stance blocked a permanent deal in the winter, but with the player’s book value now around €40 million and greater alignment between club, player and PSG, a renewed push in the summer appears more realistic.
For Spalletti, securing Kolo Muani would be a statement signing, shaping the next phase of Juventus’ project in Serie A and Europe.
