Lounas Adjout: Algerian winger joins ES Ben Aknoun on free transfer from MC El Bayadh

Algerian winger Lounas Adjout has joined ES Ben Aknoun on a free transfer from MC El Bayadh as the Ligue 1 side strengthen their attacking options for the new campaign.

The 24-year-old left-sided forward, who was born in Bordj Bou Arreridj, moves after a single season with MC El Bayadh, with the transfer completed on 14 July 2026. Adjout arrives without a transfer fee after his spell at El Bayadh, where he had signed last summer from Olympique Akbou, also ended as a free move.

Adjout has already built up solid experience in the Algerian top flight, making 38 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring twice, as well as featuring in both the Algerian Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup. His ability to operate on the left of the attack adds a natural wide option for Ben Aknoun as they prepare for life in the top tier.

Before his recent moves, Adjout came through the youth ranks at JS Kabylie and CR Belouizdad, winning the Algerian league title with Belouizdad in the 2022-23 season. He later returned to JS Kabylie at senior level before spells with Olympique Akbou and MC El Bayadh, all completed as free transfers.

Adjout, whose current market value is listed at around €100,000, joins ES Ben Aknoun without a set contract end date publicly confirmed but is registered as part of their first-team squad for the 2026-27 campaign.
