Louay Trayi: Tunisia midfielder linked with Al-Wahda exit to CS Sfaxien
Tunisia midfielder Louay Trayi is being linked with a move from Al-Wahda to Ligue 1 club CS Sfaxien.
The 21-year-old central midfielder joined Al-Wahda from Tunisian side US Monastir on 26 July 2025 in a €290,000 transfer. He is currently valued at €300,000 and remains part of the UAE Pro League club’s squad.
Trayi has made one appearance in the UAE Pro League, alongside two appearances in the UAE League Cup and two in the CAF Champions League. He was part of the Al-Wahda team that won the UAE League Cup during the 2025-26 season.
A return to Tunisia would reunite the left-footed midfielder with the country’s top flight, where he recorded 23 Ligue 1 appearances, two goals and two assists. He also played nine times in the Ligue I Pro Playoff and made six appearances in the Tunisian Cup before leaving US Monastir.
CS Sfaxien are the club currently linked with Trayi, although there is no indication that a deal has been agreed or that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported as part of the rumour.
Trayi, born on 20 January 2005, remains an Al-Wahda player as the reported interest from CS Sfaxien develops.
