Loris Mouyokolo linked with Baltika move from Grenoble
French-Congolese centre-back Loris Mouyokolo is being linked with a move from Ligue 2 club Grenoble to Russian Premier Liga side Baltika.
The 25-year-old joined Grenoble from FC Lorient on 27 August 2024 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027. Any move to Baltika would therefore involve the defender leaving before the end of his current agreement.
Mouyokolo has made 68 Ligue 2 appearances during his career, scoring once and providing five assists. He has also played twice in Ligue 1, giving him experience in France’s top two divisions.
The 1.94m defender developed at Lorient, progressing from the club’s youth system to the reserve side before making his senior move to FC Lorient. He spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Bourg-en-Bresse and moved temporarily to Rodez for the 2022-23 campaign.
Mouyokolo returned to Lorient after his spell at Rodez before joining Grenoble in 2024. He is now being mentioned in connection with Baltika, who compete in Russia’s top flight, but the French defender’s contractual position at Grenoble remains unchanged.
