Lorient welcome back Mehdi Mostefa for their third Ligue 1 matchday clash against Saint-Étienne this Sunday. The Algerian midfielder missed the previous match against Bastia but has now been recalled by coach Sylvain Ripoll.
Also back in the squad is central defender Lamine Koné. However, Majeed Waris will be sidelined for three weeks after suffering a fracture to his left hand during the match against Bastia last weekend.
Lorient squad to face Saint-Étienne:
Goalkeepers:
Lecomte, Chaigneau
Defenders:
Gassama, Paye, Lautoa, Koné, Bellugou, Guerreiro, Le Goff
Midfielders:
Philippoteaux, Mesloub, Ndong, Mostefa, Barthelmé, Bouanga, Fofana
Forwards:

Lorient will be aiming to secure points despite Waris’s absence, with Mostefa and Koné adding experience and stability to the side.
