The case involving Loïc Rémy, the French striker of Newcastle, has been definitively closed without further action by English justice. Rémy was accused of raping a woman in May 2013.
“On February 13, in agreement with the prosecutor’s office, the three men briefly arrested in Fulham on May 15 were informed that no action would be taken against them.”
Rémy had consistently denied the accusations through his lawyers. The French attacker, who previously played for Marseille, left and joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2013 before moving to Newcastle.
