Egyptian international Mohammed Salah is expected to extend his stay at Liverpool in the coming days.
Salah’s current contract with the Premier League giants will elapse in the summer of 2025, sparking numerous controversies about his future.
However, contract extension talks between Liverpool and Salah are said to be progressing. The former Chelsea winger will sign a contract that will keep him at the club beyond this season.
The Reds has reportedly offered Salah a juicy deal in an attempt to secure his services beyond 2025.
The 32-year-old has attracted interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League but is said not to be keen about a move. He may consider a move to the Gulf State two-years later.
Salah now has an impressive 227 goals and 100 assists in 371 games for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017 from Roma.
This season, the Egyptian has scored 16 goals in all competitions and has 13 assists.
