Liverpool have announced plans to release a special documentary celebrating the legacy of Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah ahead of his departure.

The Reds also revealed that a second documentary focusing on long-serving Scottish defender Andrew Robertson will be released as both players prepare to bring their successful Liverpool careers to an end.

The Premier League giants are set to conclude their Premier League campaign with a crucial fixture against Brentford FC on Sunday, May 24, at Anfield in what is expected to be an emotional occasion for supporters and players alike.

The match is likely to mark Salah’s final appearance in a Liverpool shirt after the Egyptian forward announced his decision to leave the club, ending a remarkable nine-year spell on Merseyside that transformed him into one of the greatest players in Liverpool history.

In a statement published on the club’s official website, Liverpool confirmed that two exclusive films have been produced to honour the contributions of Salah and Robertson during one of the club’s most successful modern eras.

“Two new films produced by Liverpool FC will be released to celebrate the legacy of Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson,” the club announced.

Liverpool highlighted the enormous impact both players have had since arriving at Anfield, playing central roles in the club’s domestic and European success over the past decade.

“During the nine years that Salah and Robertson spent with the club, they were among the most prominent stars of a new generation of success,” the statement added.

Together, the duo helped Liverpool secure multiple major honours, including two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup, and two League Cups.

The first documentary, titled “Salah: Goodbye to the King,” is scheduled for release on Friday, May 22. According to the club, the production will feature an extensive and emotional interview with Salah, reflecting on the defining moments of his legendary Liverpool journey.

The film will also include archive footage of some of his greatest goals, milestones, and unforgettable moments at Anfield, while teammates and close associates revisit the achievements that shaped his era at the club.

In one of the documentary’s emotional highlights, Salah’s daughters, Makkah and Kayan, will appear alongside him on the Anfield pitch as the family reflects on memorable moments experienced inside the iconic stadium.

Liverpool also confirmed that Robertson’s documentary, titled “Robbo: Liverpool’s Man,” will premiere on Thursday, May 28. The film is expected to offer fans an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the defender’s final weeks at the club and his journey from relative obscurity to becoming one of Liverpool’s most influential modern full-backs.

The documentary will feature personal interviews recorded at Robertson’s home, alongside tributes from former manager Jürgen Klopp and several teammates, including Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, and Conor Bradley.

Former Liverpool stars such as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mané, and James Milner are also expected to feature, sharing memories and appreciation for Robertson’s influence within the dressing room and beyond.

As Liverpool prepare for a major transition period, the documentaries are set to serve as emotional tributes to two players who helped redefine the club’s modern era and restore its status among Europe’s elite.
