Liverpool to face Chelsea in League Cup last-16 clash

Liverpool have been drawn against Chelsea in the standout tie of the English League Cup round of 16.

Liverpool reached this stage by beating Tottenham 3-1 in the last 32, while Chelsea advanced after a 6-3 victory over Leeds.

The last-32 schedule will conclude on Thursday when Manchester City play Norwich City. The winners of that match will face Brighton, who eliminated Manchester United with a 3-2 win.
