Before joining Liverpool on a free transfer in May, Kolo Touré played for Manchester City for four seasons. He expressed his dissatisfaction with not having enough playing time and believes City is now regretting not keeping him. In an interview with the Sun, Touré stated, “I was better than some Manchester City players, and yet they left me on the bench.” He added that he told his management before leaving that City would miss him, and now that he’s at Liverpool, he believes City regrets not keeping him. However, Touré still needs to prove himself on the field to support this claim.
