Liverpool eye Valencia winger David Otorbi after teenage LaLiga breakthrough

Spain-Nigeria winger David Otorbi, currently at Valencia, has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

The 19-year-old right winger has made nine appearances in 10 possible LaLiga matches during the 2026-27 season, scoring once. He has started 30% of Valencia’s league games and played 345 minutes, with no assists recorded.

Otorbi moved into Valencia’s senior squad from Valencia B on 1 July 2026, having developed through the club’s youth system. He made his first-team transition at the start of the current campaign and has since featured regularly in the matchday squad.

The reported interest from Liverpool would represent a potential move from LaLiga to the Premier League for a player whose primary position is on the right side of the attack. Otorbi is right-footed and was born in Valencia, while holding Spanish and Nigerian nationality.

Valencia remain Otorbi’s current club, and he is under contract until 30 June 2028. His market value is listed at €3.5m, although no transfer fee has been given for the reported link with Liverpool.
