Liverpool demand 35 million Euros for English-Ghanaian defender Jarell Quansah amid Dortmund interest
Liverpool are making it difficult for Borussia Dortmund to sign young defender Jarrel Quansah.
The German Bundesliga club is interested in signing the England-born defender of Ghanaian descent this summer as part of efforts to strengthen the squad of the team for the 2025/26 football season and beyond.
Amid the interest from the Black and Yellow side, Liverpool have placed a 35 million euros price tag on the centre-back.
Quansah, 22, played an important role in Liverpool’s squad throughout the 2024/25 football season.
During the campaign, he featured in key games in the English Premier League, helping the Reds to clinch the league title.
The centre-back also made appearances in the EFL Cup, FA Cup, as well as the UEFA Champions League.
In a season where he has grown and developed while learning under Virgil Van Dijk, Jarell Quansah is now being chased by top European clubs.
Dortmund are leading the race but must find 30 million euros to spend to make the deal happen.
