Liverpool and Manchester United join race for Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré

Liverpool and Manchester United are both reportedly monitoring highly rated Ivorian winger Bazoumana Touré ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old has quickly become one of the standout young wingers in German football following his move to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from Hammarby in 2025.

His rapid adaptation to the Bundesliga has drawn widespread attention, with scouts from several top European clubs tracking his development closely throughout the season.

Liverpool are believed to have already made initial contact with Hoffenheim to register their interest in the Ivory Coast international, signalling early intent in what is expected to be a competitive transfer battle. The Premier League side are continuing their strategy of identifying and securing dynamic young attacking players capable of long-term development within their system.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are also understood to be firmly in the race as they look to strengthen their wide attacking options. The club’s recruitment focus has increasingly shifted toward high-potential young players who can be integrated into the first team while also offering future resale and sporting value.

Touré’s rise in Germany has been particularly impressive given the short timeframe since his arrival.
