Lisbon unveils official logo for 2030 World Cup

Lakjaa Mondial 2030

The official logo for the 2030 FIFA World Cup was unveiled at the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Fawzi Lekjaa, the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, along with a representative from the Spanish Football Federation.

During the unveiling of the logo for the 2030 World Cup, Fawzi Lekjaa, in his address, emphasized the humanitarian aspect that will distinguish this tripartite tournament set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.

Lekjaa stressed the importance of collective efforts to revive the cultural aspects that have historically defined this region, aiming to empower the younger generations across the Mediterranean basin and globally to draw lessons from its rich heritage, thus building pillars that reinforce future humanitarian dimensions.

“This is our vision, and this is our ambition: to blend the humanitarian and footballing dimensions. Today, it is undeniable that these three countries—Portugal, Spain, and Morocco—are deeply connected to football.

Their peoples and youth are all passionate about the sport, as evidenced by their fervor in continental and global events,” said Lekjaa, underscoring the profound enthusiasm shared by the populace.

Concluding his remarks, Lekjaa affirmed that “this historic event will remain etched in our memories, and let us all say together: ‘Yalla… Vamos 2030!'” The slogan encapsulates the collective excitement and anticipation for the highly anticipated football spectacle.
