Divock Origi Close to Early Liverpool Return
Divock Origi’s early move to Liverpool is looking increasingly likely. According to Canal+, there is a 99% chance that the Belgian international, currently on loan at Lille, will return to Anfield before the end of the January transfer window.
Originally loaned back to Lille after signing for €13 million last summer, Liverpool are now reportedly willing to pay an additional €6 million to terminate the loan early. This would bring the total value of the deal to €19 million—a significant financial boost for Lille.
However, Origi’s departure may be delayed until Lille secure a suitable replacement. Several strikers are on their radar, including:
Petar Škuletić (Partizan Belgrade)
Kolbeinn Sigthórsson (Ajax Amsterdam)
Alberto Gilardino (Guangzhou Evergrande)
The situation is developing quickly, and a resolution is expected soon as the transfer window deadline approaches.
