Rio Mavuba Nears Return as Lille Battles Injury Woes
Lille captain Rio Mavuba, sidelined since sustaining a left thigh injury during the 0-0 draw against Montpellier on September 21, is making progress in his recovery. The experienced midfielder is currently in the rehabilitation phase, working alongside Soualiho Meïté, who is also recovering.
The LOSC squad has been hit hard by injuries in recent weeks. The club confirmed on its official website that Jonathan Delaplace, Pape Souaré, Marco Lopes, and Ryan Mendes are also undergoing medical treatment.
