South Africa winger Relebohile Mofokeng, currently with Union SG, has been linked with a move to Lille in Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old left winger joined the Belgian club from Orlando Pirates in July 2026 for €3.5m and has a contract with Union SG until 30 June 2030.

Mofokeng has scored four goals and provided two assists in nine Jupiler Pro League appearances this season, while also contributing one goal and one assist in three Europa League matches. He has started every Europa League game for Union SG and has featured in the club’s Champions League qualifying campaign and Belgian Cup run.

The proposed move would take him from the Belgian top flight to France, with Lille the club currently linked with his signature. Mofokeng’s current market value is listed at €6m, following a period in which he has established himself at both club and international level.

Before moving to Belgium, Mofokeng was recognised as South African Footballer of the Year and the country’s Best Young Player in 2026 while with Orlando Pirates. He also helped Pirates win the South African league and cup during the 2025-26 season.

Mofokeng remains a Union SG player, with his long-term contract running through the end of June 2030.
