Salomon Kalou, who has impressed with his performances in the first half of the season, may be making a return to England. Tottenham has shown interest in the Ivorian international from Lille, but Arsenal is also keeping tabs on him.
Arsenal’s manager, Arsène Wenger, has reportedly urged the club’s executives to secure Kalou’s signature before the transfer window closes. The Gunners are prepared to offer around 3 million euros to secure the player’s services.
If this transfer materializes, Lille may encounter challenges in finding a suitable replacement before the winter transfer window deadline.
Kalou has been in fine form, scoring 9 goals in 23 appearances for Lille, who currently sit in 3rd place in the Ligue 1 standings.
