French Ligue 1 outfit Lille are interested in signing France-born defender of Congolese descent, Bradley Locko.
According to information gathered, the club is working to recruit the full-back to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Following the departures of Ismaily and Gabriel Gudmundsson, Lille are actively searching for a new left-back. While Romain Perraud had previously been linked, L’Équipe now reports that Lille have entered negotiations with Stade Brestois for Locko.
The 23-year-old was among the standout left-backs in Ligue 1 during the 2023/24 season before suffering a serious ACL injury in pre-season that sidelined him for much of the 2024/25 campaign. Before his injury, Locko had drawn interest from several clubs, including Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Brest are keen to extend Locko’s current contract, which runs until 2027, but could be open to a sale if their €10 million asking price is met. The player is reportedly open to joining Lille, and talks between the two clubs are ongoing.
Should a deal be reached, Locko could play a key role in Lille’s plans as they look to reinforce their defensive line for the upcoming campaign.
