Franck Béria faced an unfortunate turn of events during Sunday’s Ligue 1 match between Lille and PSG (2-2). The Dogues full-back had to leave the game due to an injury after earning a penalty that led to his team’s second goal. On Monday, the club announced that the original Malagasy player could be sidelined for two to three months.
While awaiting a final surgical opinion, the Lille medical staff estimates an unavailability of two to three months for Béria. The injury involves his right shoulder, and there is a possibility of a dislocated collarbone. Unfortunately, it is anticipated that he won’t be back on the field before March 2014.
