Benjamin Moukandjo, sidelined since the end of November due to injury, made his return to the Nancy squad last February. However, the Cameroonian international striker has faced challenges in finding his form since then, struggling to reach his peak performance level.
Nevertheless, there are those who remain optimistic about his abilities. Noël Tosi, Moukandjo’s former coach at Nîmes, is among them. Tosi believes that the Nancy center forward will bounce back and reach his potential once again. “Benjamin is capable of becoming a prolific scorer,” Tosi stated in Est Républicain, as quoted on the club’s official website. “I even foresee his future primarily as a center forward rather than on the right side. I can envision him scoring the goal that secures ASNL’s promotion in the last minute of the final match of the season!”
