Alharbi El Jadeyaoui may have overexerted himself during his debut in the RC Lens jersey. Unfortunately, the Moroccan midfielder sustained a calf injury during his first appearance for the club on January 27th against Auxerre.
Currently, the 27-year-old newcomer to Lens is undergoing treatment for his injury. According to reports from “Goal”, El Jadeyaoui may require up to three weeks of rest before he can return to action. Consequently, he was unable to participate in his team’s recent match against Laval, which ended in a goalless draw.
El Jadeyaoui, who previously played for SCO Angers, made the move to RC Lens during the winter transfer window in a bid to secure more playing time. Known for his contributions on the field, including 10 assists and 4 goals last season, he is eager to make a significant impact for his new club once he has fully recovered from his injury.
