Le Havre Trials Ghanaian Midfielder Kamal Issah Sissoko
Kamal Issah Sissoko, the Ghanaian midfielder, is currently on trial with French Ligue 2 side Le Havre. The 22-year-old, who first made a name for himself in France at Stade Rennais, left for Denmark in 2012 to join FC Nordsjælland. Now, he could be making a return to French football.
Sissoko’s journey began at Liberty Professionals FC in Ghana, where his talents were quickly noticed. His impressive performances in the 2010-2011 season with Rennais’ CFA team caught the eye of many, especially due to his strong passing ability and quick movement in midfield. Despite being called up to the professional squad on a few occasions, he struggled to break into the first team under then-manager Frédéric Antonetti.
In August 2012, Sissoko moved to Denmark, signing with Nordsjælland in search of more playing time and development. His time in Denmark allowed him to further hone his skills, and now he is seeking a fresh opportunity in France with Le Havre, hoping to make an impact and revive his career.
Le Havre is evaluating the midfielder’s potential as they look to strengthen their squad, and Sissoko will be eager to prove himself worthy of a permanent contract with the French club.
