Ligue 1 clubs are intensifying pressure on the authorities. Although September 15 was selected as the official start date for the 2013-2014 season, the spokesperson for the Association of Presidents of Ligue 1 Clubs, Slaheddine Chatti, announced yesterday on a local radio station that the association might boycott this new date, as reported by gnet.
The reason cited for this threat is the delay in the payment of the amount promised by the State to compensate for the closed-door matches imposed.
A decision will be made after a meeting of the Association on Thursday evening.
