Monaco’s Senegalese striker, Ibrahima Touré, who was the club’s top scorer last season with 18 goals, may not be included in the squad for the upcoming season. Despite performing well in training, coach Claude Ranieri seems reluctant to keep him in the group.
In an interview with a radio station in Dakar, Touré expressed his disappointment, stating, “It’s really shocking, there is no consideration for what I have achieved. I have already said it, I will say it again here.” He added, “I am disappointed by Monaco’s attitude…but I have interesting proposals elsewhere.”
Touré mentioned that he doesn’t understand the decision, especially considering the limited competition behind Radamel Falcao. While acknowledging the changes in the club, he expressed his desire to continue what he started in Monaco. However, he is waiting for the coach to explain the decision to him.
Several clubs, including Rennes, Lyon, and teams in the Premier League, have reportedly shown interest in signing the Senegalese striker.
