Comorian forward Rafiki Saïd has emerged as a sought-after target for several top-flight clubs following an impressive 2024/25 campaign with ESTAC Troyes.
With nine goals and six assists across all competitions, the 24-year-old has drawn interest from multiple European teams, setting up a potential transfer battle ahead of the summer window.
French Clubs Lead the Race
Among the clubs closely monitoring Saïd’s situation are Ligue 1 sides Stade Rennais, Lille, and Lens. All three are reportedly considering a move for the forward, impressed by his contributions in attack for Troyes despite the club’s struggles in Ligue 2.
With Troyes currently sitting 10th in the second tier and their chances of securing promotion uncertain, the prospect of Saïd moving on has intensified.
Beyond France, German side Hamburg has also been linked with the Comorian international. A source close to the club revealed to Africasoccer that Hamburg, on course for a return to the Bundesliga next season, is seriously evaluating the possibility of signing the in-form attacker.
Troyes Hold Firm on Asking Price
While interest in Saïd continues to grow, Troyes are not willing to part ways with their star forward without significant financial compensation.
Under contract until 2027, the Comorian is considered a key asset, and the club is reportedly demanding a fee of at least €10 million for his services.
With the summer transfer window approaching, Saïd’s future remains a major talking point, as Troyes face increasing pressure to decide whether to cash in on their prized attacker or hold firm in their hopes of retaining him.
