Europe is slowly slipping away for Olympique de Marseille (OM). Their 1-1 draw against FC Nantes didn’t favor the Phocaeans, who failed to capitalize on their efforts. Following the match at La Beaujoire against Nantes on Friday evening, Olympian captain Steve Mandanda stopped in the mixed zone to share his thoughts on the game. Mandanda, the goalkeeper for OM, expressed a sense of frustration after conceding a draw against the Canaries.
“We can feel disappointed with how the game unfolded. We had good control, didn’t give away many chances, and then we conceded a goal when it was least expected. It was crucial to secure a win to keep pace with Lyon, but we’re having a tough season, and we’re paying the price for it. Let’s focus on our last three matches before making any conclusions.”
