Good news for Sadio Diallo of Lorient as he appears to be recovering well from his recent injury setback. The Guinean striker, who had to withdraw from the match against Reims due to a physical problem, missed last weekend’s game at Auguste Delaune’s pitch during Lorient’s trip to Reims.
Diallo, who was affected in the adductors, resumed running on Tuesday, indicating positive progress. It seems likely that the center forward of the Breton club will rejoin the team for collective training scheduled for Wednesday.
Additionally, Christian Gourcuff, the coach of Lorient, is hopeful for the return of Alain Traoré. The Burkina Faso international, who suffered a toe injury, is expected to undergo a fitness test. However, Raffidine Abdullah, who is recovering from adductor injury, remained under medical care.
