Rio Mavuba will be absent from the pitch at the Grand Stade Lille Métropole for the match against Guingamp this Sunday. The LOSC midfielder will miss the game due to a hamstring injury, as well as having undergone wisdom teeth surgery. René Girard, the coach of Lille, confirmed Mavuba’s absence and explained the reasons behind it.
Despite Mavuba’s absence, Lille will aim to maintain their position on the podium in Ligue 1 against Guingamp, who have performed well on their travels.
