Cheick Diabaté has returned to training with Girondins de Bordeaux after a nearly two-month absence due to knee pain. The Malian international resumed individual training on Monday under the supervision of the club’s physiotherapist. He engaged in jogging and ball-related exercises to rebuild his strength and technique. While he did not participate in the team’s collective session, his return to the pitch is imminent.
Diabaté’s injury had required a period of complete rest since mid-December, following a treatment protocol outlined by a specialist from Lyon. With his return to training, the striker is expected to rejoin the squad for Ligue 1 matches in the near future.
