Henry Saivet Committed to Bordeaux, Eyes Improved Season
Henry Saivet has expressed his commitment to Bordeaux despite what he describes as a mixed season. The Senegalese striker, who has been a versatile player for the team this year, confirmed that he has no intention of leaving the club and is focused on improving for the upcoming season (2014-2015).
In an interview with Girondins TV, Saivet made it clear that the transfer window is not on his mind. “The transfer window is not on the agenda, I’m very happy at Bordeaux,” he said. Reflecting on his current form, Saivet admitted that his season has been inconsistent, much like the team’s performance. “I know I can do better to reach a new level. I may have reached a level but I know I can do better and reach another. I have to be more consistent and be more decisive,” he added.
The 24-year-old also highlighted his adaptability, having filled various roles throughout the campaign. However, he expressed a desire to find a more defined position moving forward, saying, “I’ve helped out a lot in all positions this year. I would like it to be less the case to block me to one position.”
Saivet’s focus remains on contributing more effectively to the team and helping Bordeaux achieve greater success in the future.
