Ligue 1 – Bordeaux: Cheick Diabaté Faces Potential Relapse?

**Cheick Diabaté Faces Setback with Knee Injury at Bordeaux**

Things are turning grim for **Cheick Diabaté**. The **Girondins de Bordeaux** striker was absent from training on Wednesday morning as he sought medical advice to avoid aggravating his knee. Reports from **Sud-Ouest** indicate that the Malian forward, still experiencing pain, consulted the specialist who performed his previous operation.

Diabaté had been out for **two months** following surgery and made a brief return against **Montpellier HSC** on Ligue 1 Matchday 10, playing the final ten minutes. Initially, he had seemed fully recovered from both his surgery earlier in 2015 and a thigh injury sustained in mid-August.

However, his absence from Wednesday’s training, confirmed by **L’Équipe**, suggests that the striker may still be struggling physically and faces another period on the sidelines.
