LIGUE 1-BORDEAUX: ANDRÉ POKO WANTS TO HAVE FUN
André Poko finds it challenging to digest the defeat against Olympique Lyonnais last Sunday. However, far from feeling disheartened, the Gabonese striker from Girondins de Bordeaux remains optimistic. He believes that the team can bounce back after this setback.
“Like all previous matches, we approach them with the intention of winning. We must maintain this mindset. We will inevitably face difficulties, as we did last weekend. That’s part of the game. It’s our responsibility to find solutions to achieve positive results. We have the desire to succeed. Playing and enjoying ourselves—that’s the essence of the game. Points are earned by enjoying ourselves on the pitch. When you have the will to win, it must reflect in your performance,” Poko expressed on the club’s website.
Bordeaux may have the opportunity to redeem themselves next Sunday against Montpellier in the 29th round of Ligue 1.
