In the 9th matchday of Ligue 1, Bastia secured a lead against Lorient, with Algerian midfielder Ryad Boudebouz scoring an early goal. The goal came as Boudebouz controlled a deflection from Bruno at the entrance to the Lorient area, positioning himself well to place a left-footed shot beyond the reach of goalkeeper Audard. This marked Boudebouz’s first goal of the season for SC Bastia.
