Sporting Bastia is set to face Valenciennes in the 20th round of Ligue 1, and Djibril Cissé, the club’s new striker, has been included in the squad for the upcoming match. However, Cissé’s participation remains uncertain as the Professional Football League has yet to receive the necessary exit letter from the Russian Federation. Despite settling matters with his former club, Kuban Krasnodar, Cissé requires the international transfer certificate for eligibility to play in Ligue 1.
If the certificate is not received in time, Cissé will miss another match, following his absence in the recent Cup match against Evian. Despite the uncertainty, Cissé’s name is included in the squad announced by coach Frédéric Hantz for the Valenciennes clash. Additionally, S. Yatabaré, recently loaned by Olympiacos Piraeus, is not eligible for the upcoming match.
