Tata Martino, Barcelona’s coach, made surprising decisions by placing Neymar, Iniesta, and Alba on the bench. However, Alexis Sanchez scored in the 2nd minute, followed quickly by Lionel Messi. Daniel Alves added a third goal after 10 minutes, and Pedro contributed with another goal. Messi and Xavi further widened the lead to 6-0 before halftime. In the second half, Pedro scored his second goal, securing a 7-0 victory for Barcelona. Neymar also made an appearance in the match.
