The Union Club has finalized negotiations with Ceramica Cleopatra for the acquisition of their Nigerian striker, Rashid Ahmed.
The deal, exclusively reported by FilGoal.com, outlines that Rashid will join the Libyan Union on a loan basis until the culmination of the current season.
Despite receiving multiple offers for his services in recent times, Rashid Ahmed’s fate took a decisive turn with the Union Club, successfully negotiating terms with Ceramica Cleopatra.
Having made a limited appearance for Ceramica, participating in only four matches since the beginning of the current season without registering any goals or assists, the 23-year-old forward sought a move to revitalize his playing opportunities.
Rashid Ahmed spent the previous season on loan to Al-Dakhleya, where he featured in 24 matches, contributing with 5 goals and 3 assists.
The player joined Ceramica Cleopatra in 2022, making the move from Misr Lel-Makkasa in Egypt.
As the Union Club secures Rashid Ahmed’s loan, the team currently holds the second position in the standings of Group Two in the Libyan Premier League, amassing 7 points from 6 matches.
This strategic acquisition is anticipated to enhance the team’s offensive capabilities and strengthen their position in the league standings.
