Liberia beat Guinea to move within one win of CAN U17 2027

Liberia moved closer to qualification for CAN U17 2027 with a 2-1 victory over Guinea in the UFOA-A U17 Tournament on Friday, 11 September 2026.

The Lone Stars secured their second win in Group B, confirming their place in the next stage of the West African Football Union Zone A qualifiers. They now need just one more victory to qualify for CAN U17 2027.

Guinea must respond in their next match after suffering defeat in a group which has been reduced to three teams following Guinea-Bissau’s disqualification.

With fewer matches remaining, every result in Group B carries added importance.
