Arsenal are gearing up for a potential summer swoop for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, who is set to become a free agent when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Despite Bayern securing a dominant 5-0 aggregate victory over Bayer Leverkusen to reach the next phase of the Champions League, Sane remained on the bench, a sign of his declining status in coach Vincent Kompany’s squad. This season, Kingsley Coman and Michael Olise have been preferred in the starting lineup, leaving Sane frustrated over a lack of consistent game time.
According to Mail Online, the winger would have signed a new deal had Bayern offered one, but with contract talks at a standstill, Sane is now considering his next move. He has started just 12 of Bayern’s 21 Bundesliga matches this season.
