Algerian-French goalkeeper Leonard Aggoune has joined CR Temouchent on a free transfer after a short spell without a club. The 28-year-old, who was born in Paris and stands at 1.86m, arrives as a left-footed option in goal for the Ligue 1 side.

Aggoune becomes CR Temouchents latest addition ahead of the new campaign, moving with a current market value of 250,000. The deal follows his departure from Iraqi side Duhok SC earlier in the 2025-26 season, after which he was unattached.

Before his move to Duhok, Aggoune spent time in Algeria with MC Oran, joining them from French side FC Rouen 1899 on a free transfer in 2024. His recent career has alternated between French and North African clubs, giving him experience in different footballing environments.

Aggoune developed in the Paris Saint-Germain system, progressing through PSGs youth, U17 and U19 teams before stepping up to Paris SG B in 2016. He left the French giants reserve set-up for Cypriot club Pafos in 2017, the first in a series of moves that have taken him across Europe and back to North Africa.

Spells at US Creteil-Lusitanos, Moulins-Yzeure and CO Les Ulis built his senior resume in the French game, largely via free transfers. His switch to CR Temouchent continues that pattern, with the goalkeeper again changing clubs at the end of a contract.

Aggounes move to CR Temouchent is a permanent free transfer completed on 9 July 2026.
