Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy has welcomed the return of Ghana striker Jordan Ayew from suspension.
According to him, the return of the highly-rated attacker is a major boost to his squad and will help the team ahead of upcoming games.
“We’re looking to have Jordan Ayew back following suspension, which will help us,” van Nistelrooy announced to the media on Thursday, January 2.
He continued, “Wout Faes has been training individually but joins back up with the squad today so we’re hoping to have him as an option again soon.”
Jordan Ayew is returning to the Leicester City squad for the upcoming game against Aston Villa after missing the match against Manchester City.
The Black Stars striker missed that game due to yellow card accumulation which meant he needed to serve a one-game suspension.
Ayew will now be in Leicester’s squad for the game against Aston Villa.
That English Premier League showdown will be played on Saturday, January 4.
