English Premier League side Leeds United are pushing to sign Swiss forward of Nigerian descent, Noah Okafor.
Sources have revealed that the Premiership side is currently locked in negotiations with AC Milan to secure the services of the attacker.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Leeds have already tabled a contract offer running until 2030, signalling their long-term commitment to the 25-year-old attacker.
The club views Okafor as a key addition to strengthen their frontline with pace, creativity, and goals ahead of the new campaign.
Talks with Milan remain active, but Leeds are said to be optimistic about reaching an agreement. Okafor, who has impressed in Serie A and at the international level with Switzerland, is still considering his options.
If completed, the move would represent one of Leeds’ most ambitious signings in recent years.
After the team’s return to the English Premier League, they are keen on staying in the top-flight for a long time.
