Premier League outfit, Leeds United have officially confirmed the signing of highly rated Nigeria and Remo Stars defender Leonard Ngenge in the current winter transfer window.
The 18-year-old centre-back joins the West Yorkshire outfit on a permanent after an impressive spell with Remo Stars FC, where he featured prominently during the current season.
Ngenge registered seven appearances across all competitions for the Nigerian side, showcasing maturity and composure beyond his years. The talented Nigeria marksman is expected to strengthen the academy of Leeds United academy.
The defender, who previously had a stint with Rangers at the youth level, has agreed to a contract that will keep him at Elland Road until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The move marks his second spell in Europe, having previously had stint in Scotland with Rangers. He will hope to excel in an attempt to leave an indelible mark at the Premier League outfit.
Ngenge will begin with Leeds United junior and would promoted to the senior team provided he impresses for the team.
