Despite AC Milan’s recent struggles, Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng remains optimistic about the team’s future. Following a disappointing 0-0 draw against Anderlecht in the Champions League, Boateng faced criticism and whistles from fans when he was substituted.
Speaking about the atmosphere after the match, Boateng mentioned, “In the locker room, everything was calm.” He acknowledged the need for improvement and expressed confidence in the team’s potential, stating, “There is quality in this group, and we must do better. Sometimes we are unlucky in front of goal, and I think we will do better next time.”
Boateng also took a self-critical stance regarding his own performance at the start of the season, saying, “Personally I’m not yet at the level, but every day I work in training to give my best. It’s normal for the fans to be frustrated, but I’m not very worried. We will get our football back soon, and they will be happy.”
